New Feature: Image Preview and Grid Layout

After getting lots of feedback, we’ve introduced a new feature that allows you to see each image saved in Neatly as an image tile. This time-saving feature will allow you to see each image without having to hover over them to get a preview.

After getting lots of feedback, we’ve introduced a new feature that allows you to see each image saved in Neatly as an image tile.

This time-saving feature will allow you to see each image without having to hover over them to get a preview.

*This feature is currently fully supported on Chrome, you must enable cross site tracking in your browser settings for Safari and Brave.

The feature details

All media files as well as Google Docs, Slides, Drawings and Sheets will now be available as image tiles when in grid view.

All file types including images and Google Docs and Sheets now have previews

You can toggle between grid view with image tiles or list view, where hovering over an item will display its image preview, by going to your settings and toggling the switch.

The list view is great for when you have many documents and don't need image previews, while the grid view is useful when you have a lot of media files and need to quickly scan them.

You will still be able to share, remove or tag files. Simply hover over a tile to view your options. You can also filter files using our tag filter feature.

Additional enhancements

We’ve added a few other enhancements to the Neatly interface to help you better find and organize files.

You can now minimize sections to make it easier to see other sections without scrolling.

You can also now move and reorder sections by clicking on the gray bar and dragging the section.

We’ve also added the ability to see more files at once.
